Don't mean to bump this thread, but @carabuser going back to your explanation of Torque Max (Index Array) from the first page, I've seen Jake from MHD recommend just setting it all to 100. I've left mine stock since reading what you wrote. Has the understanding of this table changed? I'm more inclined to take your recommendation over Jake's since his was from back in 2018.

A lot happens in 3 years. I don't know if Jake had access to all the documentation back then.

The BMW document is pretty clear about that table just being the peak air load when turbos are not active. Increasing that value would achieve nothing.

Yep definitely going with what you said from the beginning. Thank you

And so gentlemen, getting back to the subject of self tuning. Switched the car to n20 tmap. Rescaled as per Jake's recommendations on voltage scaling. And I'm having problems with not meeting Boost levels. Attached are the logs, and the rom itself. Can you tell me if the problem is with the sensor (its not orig but FAE n20 tmap (attached pic) itself or with the tuning? I'm still not sure how I should scale Load based tables etc. Can't install Tunerpro at workplace so can't look it up myself. But looking for any advises. Anything suspicious with 4650mv max? What is continental n20 max voltage?

Please ignore the remarks made by @carabuser on the first page. I will make these corrections later. Thank you.

You need to rework boost control, scaling changes input values.

No idea on that sensor, target seems a little low for that request though. The only N20 MAP I'd trust is OE bought directly from BMW.

Sava, two things:
1) It would be a great convenience to your fellow Spoolstreeters and me if you could load your Datalogs in the Datalogs Folder and insert the links. I typically view on my iPhone so itā€™s really cumbersome for me to try to view your Datalogs to help.
2) Scaling your bin tables for N20 TMAP essentially requires changing all of your load break points from a max of 220 to a max of ~175. Hereā€™s an example of one of my old experimental IJEOS bins Iā€™ve been playing with. NOTE: I take no responsibility for any damage to any car or any person who uses this bin.

I also have this wonky boost target below ~3800 rpm, then BT is flat like I wanted.

Is it still in the public XDF ? Couldn't resolve this guessing game ( ), I checked almost all table, related to air, but that doesn't have "boost" in the title, and that have a RPM axis, but I couldn't find the right one ?

Sava did you find it ?

The table doesn't have boost or anything related to boost in the title. You've probably seen it 100 times and still haven't really looked at it yet.
The table that actually limits boost target proportionally to load below 4k rpm is only used for that purpose and doesn't effect anything else. That's the table that was intended to save components from too much stress at low rpm.
Air in general. The other clue was RPM is an axis and the third is, below 4000rpm will be noticeably different values.

Doesn't anyone want to solve the mystery about the secret table, that limits boost below 4000rpm?
