Is torque punch and torque reduction even necessary to play around with? I would think the ots flash from XHP is set to where they think is the best?
It is set to where XHP thinks is best but that does not work for everyone depending on power levels, and tune.
Some people have had to really turn Tq punch down to have it drive the way they want it to. Best to see what you want out of if and make one change at a time and test.

I've still got all the hardware ready to got M3 GTS via the GWS mod. However I don't want to change the diff. So the only way I can see to keep the original 2.56 FD is to go xHP. Has anyone flashed xHP on with no maps then done the GWS mod to allow you to keep the 2.56 FD ratio?

edit: Thinking about this more it doesn't make sense as flashing the GTS via Winkfp will erase xHP I assume so back to needing a diff to match better with the ratio the GTS map is expecting.

There is another way and will likely be known about more broadly soon ;)

I am new to this forum. I recently bought the xhp flash tool combo for my 2011 bmw 535i. My car was stock, everything was running fine until I flashed it :-(
After I flashed stage 1, as soon as I started the engine, it shows chassis stabilization malfunction. And I can't use the button to change to Sport and Sport + mode.
I tried flashed it back to stock , even uninstall the software. This chassis stabilization malfunction still shows up when I start the car. My Sport and Sport + worked perfectly fine before the flash. I don't know how to fix it now.

Can any expert here give me any suggestions?

If you really want the M3 GWS and the stock diff, there is someone on here that can provide a flash file. If you're fine with the factory GWS then go xHP and save yourself some hassle.

I'm running a custom TCU tune for a 2.81 diff and M3 GWS. My shift speed 6 setting won't upshift until 3500 rpm when part throttle and way higher under load. Makes for a great "full auto" track setting for guest drivers. And a lot of fun on the street.

I use the Stage 4 xHP tune on my 335i with ZF8 and it's fantastic for the track in S + Sport+ mode and other modes still work very well for the street. I now have a Z4 with a DCT and I would like to have a similar Stage 4 tune for the track but it doesn't exist in OTS maps. Is there someone here who can build one?

Agree, there are better things to spend that much money on unless you want it for a very specific purpose and have no swaps....at least until maybe custom flashes get dug into.

Thank you for that path. I had to search about 3 different keywords from it, but finally found it and does look like the stock/initial install file judging by timestamp. I flashed a flash change and re-downloaded, but it's still time stamped from the original setup.

If there's no way to readout what's actually flashed, we may want to start a repository of the stock bins somewhere. I haven't looked at the file yet, but if complete, at least they're something to reference/start from. The swap/non-stock ZB people need to get those files read out somehow and probably custom flash back instead of using their OTS/stock flash options...if it even accepts that. If they can do a full write, they should be able to a full dump, but yeah, they don't make it easy. Someone needs to talk them into reads, not downloads.

My flash only change took a little over 1 minute, but I was on the stock ZB. If you have something that isn't for your exact car flashed to start, it surely does a full write to get rid of it.
Hello sir! I got these codes and my car is in limp mode running like shit and stuck in 2nd gear! Please tell me you know the issue?? Many thanks!

I thought you meant their actual OTS maps, sorry.

Check DME codes after. Had to run out, so flashed TCU back to stock to get some base line DME and DKG logs on current DME map. No light/issues, but all these were sitting there.

Did you clear via MHD or INPA after the flash? There will codes like crazy from the flash, but they can normally just be cleared.

Did you ever find out the problem by having these codes?
