Xdrive drag setup

Waiting on engine parts from the shop, so I decided to do a street/strip brake conversion from VTT. I had a set of 17x8 et32 kosei K8R floating round and they fit and look great with a tester 245/45/17 (federal 595). Being xdrive, would a 245/45/17, maybe a Hoosier DR2 squared tire be enough for 7-800hp? Built trans as well. I just don’t see many xdrive cars on the drag strip, or at any events, and trying to get a setup ready for this coming spring. Thanks for the help

Picking up a set of 26x8.5x17 m&h racemasters this weekend. With an 8.5 tread section, I have a good feeling they’re gonna fit. Maybe be a little fender trim/roll.

Haven’t found many threads about drag slicks, even google isn’t too helpful. so I hope I’m not asking something’s that’s been answered already.
