Took off the exhaust to run straight downpipes

Last night gave a full tune up and tomorrow morning time to upgrade to msd81 DME! Installed VS stage 2 fuel pump last week. And next week drilled/slotted rotors and pads time. Oh, and 8000k Cree low/highbeams going in soon too

Installed new pads and rotors, painted my calipers black, changed and bled brake fluid.

I recent changed pads and new drilled and slotted rotors. Removed front drive shaft till I can replace my front cv axles. Wanted to remove the load from them as they are getting pretty looses on the the horizontal axis and making noise

Installed M3 DSC unit with hardwired DSC center console switch, starting the M3 SZL switch cluster now.

Hell yeah! Is that hard to do or just basically installing/exchanging the module and running the wires? What kind of coding is needed?

Changed oil and coolant today. Noticed an oil leak, can't tell if it was a loose bolt I replaced holding in the oil cooler lines or the oil cooler gasket itself. Since I just replaced that like 10k ago, I'm hoping this bolt fixed it. If not I'll be doing gaskets again!

Engine flushed and oil change #1. will drive 50 miles before changing oil to Motul 300v and installing K&P Stainless Steel Oil Filter and CTS Billet Oil Filter Housing Cap.

Finished up the 3.5" downoipd bwck exhaust. Getting ready for the upgraded twins.

Flushed and drained engine oil using my new Fumoto drain valve. Connected a hose from the drain valve to an oil container and just opened her up. Collected an oil sample for Blackstone Labs. Cleanest oil change ever. Added 6.5L of BMW 5w30 oil, added the K&P metal oil filter, and replaced a cracked coolant reservoir bleeder screw.

well not just today but in the last two weeks, I have learned how to as well as changed my oil & oil filter, changed my air filter, changed my front and back brake pads and pad wear sensor. On a dayily basis I try to at least wash the car tho, especially since it is black and I live in cali, we have a lot of dust where I live and it loves resting on black paint lol I vaccum as often as needed, the car maybe 14 years old but only has 120k miles on the engine and runs great so I fully intend to keep it that way.

I do not recommend washing every day. Even if you use the two bucket method with grit guards, you will impart microscratches quicker than if you just washed once a week. Even if you have ceramic coating it will scratch. Especially black paint finish.

Stage 3 shifting is too violent for my tastes. I am staying with Alpina.

Removed both rear shocks and adjusted them to 85% firmer, same in the front shocks also. Noticeably less sway in driving all around now. Trade off is more noise and more road imperfection awareness.

well lets see. removed downpipes for the 4th time this summer. replaced both turbo drains (ever since i got rb chras, ive had an oil leak) , didnt fix it. Ordered oil pan gasket and all the hardware. Installed all new rear lower and upper strut mounts.
