I never really understood why people want to run full E85 at lower power levels unless its merely for ease of use.
Give us Flexfuel, all this becomes irrelevant.I never really understood why people want to run full E85 at lower power levels unless its merely for ease of use.
Definitely ease of use for me. I have no desire to move the car around between pumps.
Sounds great!
I understand that Flexfuel will allow engine to run more timing, but will it also be designed to allow higher levels of boost?
Thanks.
Neil
Yeah, Jim I quoted it you and posted on the flexfuel thread. You should check out the flex fuel threads for more info. But the basics of it is you pick 2 different tunes - OTS or custom and assign them to a low E85 tune and high E85 tune. The flex fuel module simply interprets between them as the E content varies between them.

.dont push to far into 500hp, for sake of injectors
Hes looking for feedback on limits of 100% stock fuel system I believe is what he posted with addition of Chinese fuel pumpWhat do you mean here? Clearly many others are well past 500hp.
Yes that is true.im at 685whp.however not with factory fuel system anymore.
I havent heard of an upgrade to the factory injecotrs.Factory injectors/system good for 500-550 alone. I upgraded system by adding port injection with 1055 cc injectors and 100% methanol on single cm10 nozzle with assistance of a stage 2 pump. I am however 100% e85
Lol i lost a motor during the experimental process, of avoiding some upgrades i felt at the time as being unnecessarynice... you got all the fuel going on here. I did Methanol in the charge pipe few years ago, I really liked it.
Give us Flexfuel, all this becomes irrelevant.

Interesting post.
What could I expect from Stage 2 LPFP, everythig else stock and full e85 ?
Thx
