Not looking to start any tuna fights or anything. Busy enough with covid bs as most people are. When he approached me with logs and a dyno of his setup he asked if there was room for more power without pressing limits, my answer with what I saw was maybe-probably. I based that on many similar setups I've tuned, all of which tend to run mid to low 600s with the boost and timing he was running depending on conditions. I wasn't trying to beat his old results, just got the car set the way I typically do while respecting his goals. I'm happy to see that the car performs exactly as I predicted it would, and so is he obviously since he posted his results.
I think the biggest takeaway is more evidence the pure dd turbos are good for 600+ no problem. Plenty left in her, another couple psi and a little more timing before I'd call it max effort but max effort stuff isn't what I consider reliable.
