Upgrading brakes, what to do about the rear?

and between EBC and PB, are the EBC any quieter ?Definitely not quieter than OEM right ?

The semi-metallic PB pads have a bit of noise and lots of dust, but still nothing to be concerned about. And I would say EBC orange, which are a step up, are surprisingly quiet for a track pad. Going down to the yellow stuff, you can still hear a tiny bit of noise. But it is like a faint 'air'ish kind of noise. Not a squal.

You will need the correct tool to turn in the piston if you have not done this before.

@fmorelli those are 340mm front brakes you posted link to or 380?

There are as far as i know three more options for the rear brake were you keep you electronic parking brake.

I have the feeling they are all made in the same region in Taiwan and the K-sport and D2 calipers are almost the same.
I hope this helps some people, i am planning to go the D2 route soon and will let you know how it works out.

Here is a review of Rotora Brakes for my e93 335i. I highly recommend them. I am going to upgrade my rear M Performance brakes to Rotora when I get a new job.
