Some pics from a trip to the mountain in Bathurst with mates, the famous racetrack has some decent picturesque views at sundown.

Another trophy from the final show this year and finishing up with 20 trophies for this season.

I'm retiring this car from anymore shows unless something special comes up or by invitation from now on as it's been a really tiring year
for me and it takes a lot of effort to prepare for a show and shine.

Added some undercar lighting for night time shows a few months back, turned out quite good and got a lot of positive responses thus far.

Only people that have won trophies can understand how much work goes into building a car, keeping it clean and still be able to drive it.

All the ones I see constantly winning are ones that only come out on sunny days or come on a trailer.

Its a lot of work trying to represent the brand, you can count on one hand how many decent enough euros turn up and the rest are just not even worth looking at.

Oh I can believe that. Years ago I watched you start this project and I can't believe how far it has progressed. The awards are well deserved!

The inspiration and advice you have given here is appreciated.

What is next for the ride? Are there other cars you will focus on now?

I'm trying to get a e series e81 2 door hatch imported to Australia as they were never sold here and do a 1m wide body setup on it.

I've seen it done in Europe and it looks sick but I'm going to take it to the next level and make it electrically and mechanically identical to a 1m
in every way and stick my freshly built driveline into it but restricting the power to around 500hp at the wheels.

Going to delete the rear seat, install a half cage to make it a real mean hot hatch.

I really enjoy driving the e87 but the 5 doors are just too common here.

Also going to pump the guards even further to run 335 wide rears and 305 fronts.

Going to be short and wide and mean as fxxk, just like a little bulldog with rabies.

I went out and checked out these wheels for a customer but he didn't want to pay what they were worth so I ended up buying them for myself.

They got a few paint chips and that's about it, worth every penny otherwise.

Here are some wheel weights including tyres in kg, if you want it in lbs use a calculator LOL.

Custom m359 rim/wheel 20x9 +20 255/30/20 Weight 23.6kg
Stock m359 Front Rim/Wheel 19x9 +31 245/35/19 weight 23.6kg
Apex ARC 8 Front Rim/Wheel 18x9.5 +22 245/40/18 weight 20.8kg
Bc Forged RZ 39 Rim/Wheel 19x9 +15 255/35/19 weight 20kg
Koya semi forged SF06 Rim/Wheel 20x9.5 +20 245/30/20 weight 21.1kg

Front weight saving 3.6kg per wheel over stock

Custom m359 rim/wheel 20x10.5 +25 285/30/20 Weight 27.1kg
Stock m359 Rear Rim/Wheel 19x10 +23 265/35/19 weight 24.6kg
Apex ARC 8 Rear Rim/Wheel 18x10.5 +27 275/35/18 weight 22.2kg
Bc Forged RZ39 Rim/Wheel 19x10.5 +25 275/35/19 weight 22.5kg
Koya semi forged SF06 Rim/Wheel 20x11 +27 285/30/20 weight 23.5kg

Koya SF06 back from powder coating, they turned out better than new and surprising how light they are.

Weights added to previous post.

German Auto-fest 1st place in its class, it was supposed to be held last year and was already paid for as the rain delayed it.

Sticking to major shows, charity events and some local shows from now on.

Time to relax a little and concentrate my efforts on my hatch.

Another top euro award at a new car show I haven't been to before.

The reaction from people that never seen the car is priceless and is better than any trophy but getting one is icing on the cake.

Went to the easter weekend show to support some of my friends cars to pull off a club trophy.

The old fellas are starting to recognize the car and asking a lot of questions about the build that keeps me occupied throughout the show.

They are finally seeing how much work has gone in, most have never seen a 1m before and ask me if its factory or not.

They can't believe that the build has oem quality and are stunned with the detail in the car.

Just seeing people reaction when they understand what they are seeing is more satisfying than a trophy but getting one sweetens the effort.

Sorry for the bad pic, the lighting was bad and my phone could not take one if its life depended on it.

Couple of extra photos from the weekend snapped by some mates, people come up to me all the time just to talk
about the car and the usual crowd gawking all over it, it makes up for all the hard work so people can enjoy it whilst raising money for charity.

At this event you can talk to the cops about your car and how you can fix not so legal issues if any and not get booked for it.

You can have a conversation about future mods your planning and their legality.

Finally got around to fitting the P3 gauge now to wire up the analog inputs like fuel pressure as protools
fails to read most of the obd2 channels on the s65 ecu.

The raw channels outputs on protools have been coming soon for over 3 years LOL, buggy software anyway and have to go old school analog
to get what I need.

Some new gear arrived for the 1m3, new magnetic sump plugs, dragy holder and s65 vanos covers from VTT.

Need to order a set of billet valve covers so I can do it all at once when the funds finally allow, need to finish all these projects I'm doing.

Seen the NRG ones but I prefer the VTT ones due to their oil cap design and extra ports for a custom catch can systems I build like on my 135i.
