You also don't want the turbo to sit any lower so it can gravity drain. Last thing you want is to have to install a pump imo.
living in the PNW im pretty octane limited (no e85, 92 e10 at the pump etc..) the t3 stuff is perfect for me
those are kinda unusual codes. I think you just need to recheck your connections (Mac solenoid to wg). I've been running this setup for over 5,000 miles and never ran into this. I feel i did you guys a disservice by not posting anything. I wanted to wait till all gremlins are sorted then post. Currently getting tuned by Jake@motiv and chasing down a 30ff. You'll also need adv or ntk o2 sensors. i burnt mine out in a week.
Yes, all the n motors have the same ports, and they will seat. The bolt patterns vary, abviously bmw felt using turbos from one platform to another would be senseless, lol. If you were to use manifolds from one to another, you would have to drill the manifolds for the bolt pattern. The other issue would be if you were to able to acsess the nut once it's on. This has been an ongoing issue for n52 guys looking to turbo, no one makes a specific manifold, so unless there is a manifold built with a multi bolt flange, this would be useless for the other n motors.I'm a bit confused right now, aren't the N52 and N53 the same ports and bolt pattern as the N54? only the N55 has the lower bolts different?
