That is the correct cover however it's my understanding that the 650i cover will only fit the large diff, my car is mt.

I've already priced out a 215 AT diff, however there is also a difference in the drive shaft which means I may require a custom unit or a modified unit.

I assume the mounts are different? What about the subframe, is there any difference manual/auto?

Mounts and subframe is the same from auto to mt.

If you're shopping components w/ spherical bearings or rod ends pay attention to the liner material. Nylon doesn't last long. Kevlar is slightly better. Anything w/ an exposed joint will get slop within a few months. When we narrowed the track width on my last project, I needed to increase joint angles to regain lift & learned the differences after replacing tierods I converted to spherical rod end.

The sub frame is in the car and the front control arms have been installed. I also decided to do the m3 rack at the same time.

I also went ahead and made simple diff lock down while I had the sub frame down. I don't think this was needed with the solid bushings but it can't hurt.

15.5mm I believe.

I did the same. It can't hurt. Small money if it helps.

I was always concerned with the diff cooling fins as they sit lower. If a cooled diff is needed an external cooler with a pump might make the most sense. Granted it is much more complicated.

sorry, my english is not the best, so I´m not realy sure whats the right name of this bushings.
Are this bushings the "Polly Lower Inner" on your list?
Where do you get them and are you satisfied with them?

See where I circled in yellow watch these bolts very closely as they tend to come loose, bend and snap off .

Only the ones supported on one side.

Running spherical bearings on the road is not a good idea, I had it snap off 3 times when running around 600hp.

I know the part number is different since it has better bushings. What's different about it other than that?

Yea, your right it appears the rear diff mount is different. I guess that would be nice if I didn't already have an lsd for the 135i diff.

I'm pretty sure at least one of the suspension mount points is different as well.
