I have 10 More of these. PM me if interested will do same deal 540 shipped.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Alright guys sorry for the delay.
I got slammed busy with steering wheels and stuff but I did manage to remove the old gaskets last week and have been testing the new ones I got made up for this manifold.
As you can see from the pic, I melted CYL 3-4-5 pretty badly and the new ones are below the crispy ones.
No leaks to report and things are good to go! Theses new gaskets will ship with the SC Manifold at no added cost! You're WELCOME!
New gaskets are made from FluroSilicone (spelt that wrong possibly) and are rated for about 400* temp and are fuel resistant to degradation.
These suckered aren't cheap on a custom application like this, but will outperform OEM gaskets all day.
Can I buy a couple sets, or can you direct me to where i can get them for this? It seems that stock ones wont fit this manifold.
This thing flows air nicely. Some results with our F21-series turbos at only 18psi plenum pressure. E85 with supplemental methanol fuel. Oh, also: emissions-compliant stock downpipes. View attachment 4147
I believe you but on what basis does this show that it flows more air? Am I missing something? Do you have a before and after? This thing flows air nicely. And I just wanna say that may have came off very forum jerkish but that's now how I meant it.. I meant it like I wanna know lol
These turbos are in testing and not released publicly. But the manifold is working great. My only suggestion would be for some kind of resin/insulating spacer between it and the cylinder head. Heat conducts through that flange really quickly.
Hey Doug, since you're having luck with this manifold. Thought I would ask. Are you using the gaskets supplied?
So I've been driving myself nuts trying to compile exactly what injector will fit this Lil fella.
After speaking to sharps they stated that it is designed for an Ls3 style injector.
These are the smallest of the bunch.
They measure 38mm center to center of the orings..
That's what your looking for..
I'd assume that you could use a larger one with spacers if you choose but I can't confirm that it clears the hood ect.. I think it would but not sure, only thing I could think of with it not fitting.
My e92 has new motor mounts & 1/4" rail spacer; hood appears to clear approx 3/8"
