The good thing, is there is going to be an ass ton of wrecked N54's in the scrap yards compared to cars like the 2JZ.
Yeah, but you seen who is buying them? Most of them will be front-end collisions :)

I have Index 11, and I just ordered six Index 12 because I got scared the price was going up.

Most of it all has to do with warranty and the customer care package. You will benefit by using any n63 pn you can. Since bmw has to pay for it they Lower the cost to a redic number!!!

I think I'm going to give the 446 pump a try from FCP Euro. Has anyone been running an overdriven 446 pump with the shotgun?

When I was at the dealer, I was told about a secret part number for the door handles. I don't know which car this is, but apparently there is a recall or SIB for something related to the handles, post that up if anyone knows.

Kickup up this older topic as ,my HPFP seems to be getting a little lazy;

New HPFP??13518604231
Refurb HPFP1351761644613517616170

The BMW part catalog shows 350euro for the 446, 680euro for the 170 and a whopping 877euro for the 231.

Anyone ever figure out the difference between the two refurbed pumps? Can i buy the 446 without issues?

Since you’re buying from FCPEuro, then their warranty and replacement programs will cover you if anything goes wrong with the pump.

446 fits and works just fine. It's what I'm on.

Odds are it's the same part and just a sib part number for warranty work.

I'm not buying from FPCeuro through as i'm not in the US. Shipping and import kills the deal unfortunately and the local dealer quotes then for 350 euros which is less then FPCeuro.
These prices above are from the local BMW dealer. I guess ill see if they will supply the 446 to me then for only 350 euros :)

BMW is back to selling #13538648937 and #13538616079. Although these are two different part numbers, they are the same and it's actually referred to as #13537585261-12. If the box these come in says anything other than that, you can safely assume that they're #261-12.

New part number for you guys to try. Might have been released with the updated recall campaign

There are several parts which have an alternate, cheaper part number. This is the reason these 'secret' or 'alternate' part numbers exist according to FCP Euro:

I got mine right before the price hike off Amazon, they were right around 800 bucks I think.

They might be trying to get rid of the stock they bought prior to the change.
I’ve tryed it today in UK, park Royal London bmw.
They told me they dont have them in UK and also there is no estimated delivery time. So waiting for it can be weeks, months...
250£ for one injector is too much...
