What's worse - the people in CA voting for stupid things like not DIYing car repairs, or all the people here in SC that are on medicaid and food stamps voting reupublican. The same people I know that are massive 'conservatives' are the ones bitching when their food stamps got cut.

Based on that, I do believe people vote in politicians that do the opposite of the stuff they complain about, but it's just that they are too dumb to know what they are voting for.

This, they will just recreate CA every place they go, it's already happening here. Even if you can get over the political side of things its hard to be happy about more traffic, increased property taxes, and just general congestion everywhere that didn't exist before.
Sounds like my area, DFW has exploded with Cali refugees the past 3-4 years. Dallas is rapidly becoming as progressive as the state they fled. Traffic has quickly become a nightmare and the push to turn Texas Blue is in full steam.

It will be blue by the next election cycle.

It is happening in Arizona too: https://www.fox10phoenix.com/news/w...alifornians-moving-to-arizona-in-high-numbers

"On average 60,000 people moved from California to Arizona each year. California was the largest source for new Arizona residents, followed by Texas"

LA is definitely a big hub for ... "green" and "rainbow" people. So is SF. Some of them are really out there and you cannot reason with them. Ask me how I know!
Seems like lots of @$$hats either left or came to their senses because I see more and more nice people around. Plenty of idiots here still but not as many as I used to see. I do believe that California will turn around.
