I’ve installed this on my N54! Awesome part/system! What’s the psi thresholds for yellow/red/2000rpm limp mode? Need to make sure my accusump triggers before limp mode. Thank you.

What else do I need
MHD wireless adapter I guess?

Do I need to but the MHD Monitoring app as well or does the licence supplied for the kit cover this?

Can I just buy the sensor and wire in as some have already mentioned then buy the licence?
Im not interested in an tuning so looking for the minimum to allow oil pressure monitoring

yes. You need the monitoring app IF you want to monitor your oil pressure.

You can use a cheap cable instead of the wireless adapter if you want to save money and connect it to your phone/tablet on which you have the MHD app installed.

WHEN buying. Create a new email specifically and only for that app. So when you sell the car you can forward the account to the buyer.

Ahh ok, I have an OBD cable for my phone to use Bimmertool, so I can use that to configure the warnings and check oil pressure.

Also, has anyone figured out the pin layout?? Thinking i might just buy an N55 sensor from the dealer and a license from Nexsys as the shipping to the UK is expensive

It's easy to work out. The blue/yellow wire is the curved side of the sensor connection. yellow/white is middle pin, Black/yellow is straight side.
but of course it'll be your own wiring colours.

Fitted the kit today, purchased MHD monitoring app and added the Nexsys Licence.

Nexsys instructions say I need to flash the DME..... I'm only using the monitoring app as I don't wish to install any performance maps

What do I do now??

You need to flash stage 0 at least to get the changes in there for the sensor.

Out of interest, why wouldn't you want any increased performance?

Any advice on how to do that ? Sorry I don't have any experience with this stuff, and is this possible with just the monitoring app?

It's on my 1M, don't want to mess with it, just want a good oil pressure monitoring system/gauge as the OEM warning light is useless

You could try just generating an update stock file, then using the flash custom map option and selecting the updated file that MHD created. You would have to ensure that the Nexus flash options is set in MHD first.

Since the stock tune you have only has provision for a pressure switch, not sensor, some kind of flash is required to change that.
