Hows the spool on your setup? Originally I was going to go with a BW but since leaning towards Precision.
I would recommend going with a smaller Borg Warner since this one is a 72mm. As of right now (still in the process of tuning it) I’m getting full boost on 93 of 23 psi around 5000-5200rpms. On a s362sxe you’ll spool a lot quicker. Generally I’ve seen those hit full boost on 93 around 38-4200rpms on 93
So I'm ready to pull the trigger and I have emailed and text Jeff from Speedtech with no response. I also read some people are having issues with O2 sensors on this kit. Anyone have any current updates on Speedtech? Should I look at another kit?
No, issues with Jeff @Jeff@Speedtech or the kit. He usually responds within 24-48 hours. Also, if you plan on running stock o2's there are a few threads on the issues that people have had on all the kits out. Recommend just going with ADV and not dealing with the headache.
So I ended up with a VI Engineering Top Mount, couldn't pass up the deal I got. I was messaging Jon (owner/fabricator) and he advised to just Ceramic Coat the manifold and leave the downpipe bare to prevent the manifold from cracking, hearing that made me scratch my head since every top mount I have seen has a wrapped or coated downpipe due to the heat. I was planning on coating everything but per Jon's recommendation I guess I'm going to coat just the manifold and dump tubes.
