I have open dump tested. Mids definitely restrictive just don't know by how much as the car was so loud I was cop bait and had to cut test time short. My trims jumped high into the positive which demonstrates more fuel and therefore more flow and power. 3.5 midpipe being fitted this week so we shall see. 👍
Did you compare your load actual and MAF?

Due to noise I was restricted to a few short pulls only, I can't really give concrete data on that, but I can't see big changes there. Only positive stfs and a dip in hpfp pressure were consistent differences

I understand, that must have been ridiculously loud😲

I can't remember, do you still have your MAF or are you running MAFless? If you still have your MAF, then load actual% and MAF will be a direct indication of airflow into the engine. I'm not sure if running with your downpipe open to atmosphere could introduce any effects on the O2 sensors readings?

Absolutely ridiculous. I don't know how down turn dumps are a thing! The vibration as well.
I'm mafless.

Engine teardown?

Why?

Engine has had bearing material in the filter since day 1. I was short on time so I outsourced that bit. I should have known better, and this is why I do everything myself.

Reminds me of my ride back in the 90s, bridge port FD RX7 with nearly straight pipes, a big turbo, and an open dump. I'm totally on the other end of the spectrum now, likely due to that car. I try to keep everything as quiet and stealthy as I can.
