Moving MAF to after the turbo

I'm starting my full frame turbo build on an N55 M2 in the next couple of weeks and my plan was to have the air filter sit straight on the turbo, but that leaves no room for a MAF pre turbo like in the stock setup. So I'm wondering if anyone has moved the MAF to post turbo, i.e just before the throttle body?

Obviously I would get a custom tune at the same time (and maybe one of those airflow straightening screen mesh things) but yeah is anyone else doing this or if not is there a reason why this won't work?

I'm planning on running no BOV or recirc if that makes any difference

I would not attempt to do this personally, I think the readings the MAF would give just before the throttle body would potentially be confusing to the DME. I would think you’d be better off finding a tuner that can set your car up MAFless.

Agreed no issues, even Dyno'd 611 with a PS750 turbo MAFLess
