I'm having issues now that I've updated from v2.56 to V4.2. I updated the firmware on the reflex and had Jake move my old 2.56 tune to 4.2 so I could use can bus integration.
I added the can bus wires to the ECU fallowing the instructions, updated the firmware to using the V44 RFX PLUS SN 501+ ALL .hex file, and then wrote the new tune Jake gave me, and now neither my PI nor my boost control work. When I tell MHD to log the "reflex aux 1 output DC" or "reflex PI base" they just stay a constant value. I'm not getting any errors in MHD. If I go full throttle I only get spring pressure, showing the aux 1 output is not working like it was on the 2.56 tune. Further, my STFT's max out at 34-36, showing my PI should be on but it's not.
Not sure what is going on, and not sure if I can go back to the old 2.56 tune and if I'd have to down rev firmware or what, but for the moment I'm stuck at spring pressure and no PI.
Hooking up to Tuner PRO RT the all data option shows map pressure, RPM, etc while the car is running, so I know the relfex seems to be at least getting its inputs. None of the values report an error either, the injector entries show "NO FAULT" same as aux 1 out.
Hmm... I have not flashed the vehicle with MHD for any can bus support..... I wonder if the reflex is in some kind of protect mode as it's not getting a can bus signal it thinks it should be.
I cannot find in the menus (as of yet) where to activate these features when flashing the map.... the Reflex manual states:
"For use with the MHD plat form select the Motiv can bus in flash time options under can bus.(not all plat forms are currently supported ) 2. This feature will allow the following safety features and revert the DME to limp mode on current supported vehicles.
-LP safety for too low of a LPpressure
-PI safety, if the ReFlex detects a fault within the PI system
- Can bus safety, If the DME loses communication via Can bus"
And I've dug through both the options and latest MHD manual and find no such thing.
I can't test more than this tonight, but I let it do a long write (which it was demanding) of the same tune and now when I try to read aux out DC instead of always reporting 60 no matter what, now it reports zero (at idle)... I'll have to test tomorrow and see if that did it.
