Totally MOSFET failure. The ones linked up top are a cost effective choice that's better than stock. Do all 6, not just the bad one. Any electronics place with an air rework station can do it, don't let anyone use an iron on your DME (except to reflow the contacts before putting the new chips on). You can do it yourself if you want, it's not that hard just takes patience.
All else fails, upgrade to msd81. But imo worth saving some time and $$ by fixing first, unless you just want to be rid of the thought of msd80.
