I have the Xcarlink. Works great not only for MHD Gauges but I use it to display my Escort 360 Radar Detector. I mounted the detector in the back of the car and bluetooth to my phone. Then I mirror the screen to the Xcarlink and presto it's a super stealth sytem.

Interesting, I assume you purchased a dongle for the screen mirroring? I got an HDMI dealio from them, not sure if that is the same thing or not.

drivers side vent mount with a cheap amazon holder. obd2 cable tucked into the footwell and door trim, with a Y splitter to allow simultaneous charging and logging. phone is a galaxy s3

Can you share more on how you have this wired? The worst part of running a hardwired cable is that the device can't charge while its logging from the OBD port. You're able to split the line which allows charging AND logging at the same time? Curious to hear/see more on this setup.

Need a USB splitter and host mode enabled on whatever android device you're using. Some don't support it. Connect phone to OTG cable to splitter to k+dcan cable and usb charger.
