any way to make max cool a constant on toggle while engine is running(and then defaults off next ignition cycle) and 8.5mins while engine is off?
I understand. I sometimes sit in the lanes for 20-30mins thinking it’ll take 5, and just being able to click it on instead of waiting to hear it shut down and turn it on again would be great.Maybe, not interested at the moment. This was a stop gap while for ppl to use in the staging lines while I work on more involved on the fly stuff
Any plans to bring back the ability to auto launch logging as soon as the app is opened? My logging setup consists of an Android box sitting in the glovebox, and having MHD automatically open the logger as soon as it was launched was convenient.
No problem, I'm trying to give meaningful feedback to improve mhd!@F87Source thank you for the feedback! To avoid #1, I think you may have to set the min and max values. It should be using the value that the gauge displays for the alert ranges (units aside). For #2, it should keep beeping / flashing infinitely currently. That duration is the "cool down time" for after it goes back to normal range. While the max threshold is exceeded, for example, it should not stop alerting.
Oh and a really important reason for having it beep even below 30% pedal is because if we track guys take a hard corner and oil pressure drops (for those of us with a standard non M sump set up) then it can beep even if the user is not on the gas letting the user know not to accelerate hard out of the corner until oil pressures stabilize. No problem, I'm trying to give meaningful feedback to improve mhd!
For number 1 I did set both min and max values for example both coolant mins and maxes were at 117, but it alerted way before that leading me to think it was still in fahrenheit instead of celsius.
For number 2 the alerts would stop if the pedal was not depresed over 30%, could we change the minimum pedal depression for alerts to Include 0%? This way for track guys it will always keep beeping even in braking zones.
Thanks again!
I see, thank you so much for clarifying. I did not know how to set these up since there was no instructions in the beginning lol, so I thought it was the range where you want alerts. The alerts are triggered when (actual < MIN) OR (actual > MAX). So setting as 6800-6800, most all RPM will be less than the MIN so once you exceed the pedal threshold, it will alert you. The proper way to set it would be 0 - 6800
Same issue here aswell. So if I use the bar style gauges it doesn’t give me the correct ’minimum’ values. If I use standard ‘sport’ gauges. It works fine.
today is first time I tried them, so not sure if this is a new problem or not
both screens we clicked on while the car was running, so it should have shown similar min values
Can we get a tick box for voltage logging ?
It will be good for diagnosing issues with alternators, starter motors and batteries when under load
