Also, just adding onto your question if you dont mind. Did you guys opt for the 1" wide or 2" wide rolls?
Pretty sure its the 2" wide rolls

I went ceramic coating route. Multiple people told me if oil drips on the wrap could cause a fire either way coating is by far the best method I paid $150 for manifold and downpipe localPretty sure its the 2" wide rolls
will you run the BMS to vent to atmosphere?
Honestly I would just use the new gaskets. Just make sure the surfaces are nice and clean and dry when you go to reinstall.
I work at a jeep dealer as a mechanic and on Friday I saw someone who used rtv to reseal a water pump and the coolant just ate away at the rtv and it ending up blocking the head coolant ports.
Update: Just received my rb external pcv today. Doc Race kit comes in on Tuesday. Sometime later this week my catch cans will also come in. I ordered a fab factory dual catch can bracket to. Hopefully it should be shipped soon. I also have to order up a bmw clutch alignment tool. After I get those parts I should have everything in order to begin ST install beside all the misc stuff I need to get from local stores. Also If you are thinking about ordering a doc race kit they're doing ceramic coating at no charge.
Taking a little bit longer than expected. Hoping to get it running tomorrow. Ran into a few snags on the way making things a bit harder to install. I have my car in a shop and they are only open Friday through Sunday 9am-5pm. Last weekend I was really close to finishing so I thought if I could get my car to be able to roll, I could just push it out of the shop and finish in the parking lot. Well I wasn't able to get it to roll. All I needed to do was put the control arms back but ran out of time. So in the effort to get it rolling putting the subframe and steering rack back in has made it a real pain to get anything done and everything is taking 10x longer to install. The way the turbo is clocked I cant get one of the compressor housing bolts in. I really just need it to run and drive about 5 miles to my house and then I can take it apart again and do it right. Also the way my charge pipe sits the relocation of my coolant tank wont let me have my coolant sensor plugged in. And it might just be my perfectionist but I want the relocated coolant hoses run better. Right now it looks like they are all kinked and doesn't look good to me. But again I just need it to run and drive to my house. And the last thing the collector from the down pipe to exhaust the holes dont line up and the o2 sensors aren't able to go in so I'm going to have to make new o2 sensor holes and drill holes to connect the exhaust together. So might be a little while til I can start dd it again.
