Gotta say the brand new 034 motor and transmission mounts look pretty awesome. (EDIT: I was wrong about 034 read below posts) Would love to try mounting one of each on the passenger side. I wouldn't dare to do both sides neither for engine nor dct though
BTW if already purchased, you can actually use poly with the dct as long as you only do one side. Both sides is a big no no. But I would still prefer upgraded rubber for dct.
I currently run one passenger side green revshift motor mount and I don't like the vibrations. But the car is super fun to drive through corners, because there is less engine weight transfer. The softer poly isn't an option because it melts on track. So perhaps the new 034 is a good alternative to an IS mount.
As for the rest of the car... use M rubber everywhere if you want sporty comfort. And remember to avoid camber plates (nvh!!). Or go all in and use bearings everywhere if you want that ultra sharp response. Then you also do camber plates and track ready alignment to make the car extra pointy. And you'll both love and hate it. Depends on the use and roads available.
Poly can be used for swaybars (hard or soft poly) and if necessary as diff mounts (need soft poly - noone wants diff whine). Subframe mounts can be solid no problem imho. Rear strut mounts I haven't tried upgrading yet.
Otherwise avoid poly - and definitely never use soft poly for suspension arms. Its rubber, bearings or hard poly as the very last option.
