The very bottom bolts on the gearbox support bracket which are 1 or 2mm away from the factory gearbox crossmember.

Button head allen-bolts will fix any issues

12.2@128mph with a 2.2 60ft on the very first tune and not ideal, this car wasnt built for drag racing but it will be a killer
roll racing car as the turbo is just to big to get off the line quickly.

I installed the reflex last week and waiting for a boost sensor and a new tune to start dialing it all in.
What made you go this route vs turbo lamik tcu paired with 8hp45 or 70? Looking to swap transmission this year. And both this and an 8-speed swap have caught my eye 👀. Not a fan of DCT after my Audi, so I’ll pass on that.

Much cheaper and stronger.

It also can easily be rebuilt to hold 2500hp for cheap compared to 8hp45 and dct is just way to expensive to do

Plenty of hp28's been built here not that the n54 can make that power.

1500hp rated box is about 2.5k usd to rebuild here. 2500hp is about 5 to 6k which is a lot cheaper than most conversions.

But you guys do what you like as we went this way and don't have to worry about failures

Thats what they quote them to hold , lots of barras are running those sort of figures here and that's the same boxes they run.

They are actually running more than that

The world record set here a few years ago was 2200hp at the hubs so around 3000 at the flywheel or more.

There is a few running around in oz.

I don't know him so can't comment.

But personally have a mate running 1462hp at hubs of a 1500hp rated box for over 2.5 years and still holding on the street and a few 9s passes at the drags.

The n54 will never make this power unless you redesign the head and run a billet block.

Hp28 is the go to box for high hp applications if you want to retain some kind of street drivability.

i did a 28 swap and will go on dyno next week. can test some good HP numbers. but not maximum at moment. will test First 1000hp 900lb with shifting. i put more clutches in so we will see what this 28 will do.

So I wanted to comment on the thread here

I have a 2008 335i with Joshua Guruautowerks 6HP26/6HP28 kit on paired with a 3k stall 6HP21 converter from Rod Sutphin. Engine has a Speedtech bottom mount SXE366 Borgwarner. Engine has 214,631 on it at the writing of this post. Trans has about 75k on it. About 20k miles since first installed.

I was one of the tester cars for these kits which came about right when my 6hp21 blew up so perfect timing. I saw a post from Joshua about these kits and was interested in becoming a tester for them. Hands down greatest thing I have done for my car. His product quality, customer service, ability to explain basically everything about the kits in such detail is something you truly dont find with alot of companies out these days. A+ all around the board and great support too.

The transmission has blown me away with what it can do and its power capacity with the tuning support from Rod Sutphin and his 3k stall TC. The ST absolutely loves the higher stall converter and rod has got the map pretty damn dialed in. I have yet to test the TC for digs as im fighting a mystery misfire.

Installing the transmission is incredible straight forward with the adapter plate. Everything labeled and easy to understand and if i had a question, Josh had the answer.

I can not thank both Joshua and Rod Sutphin both for everything they have done to help me further push my car. I would recommend them to anyone without a second thought!
