Thought I remember coolant passages being a no go on that?N52 head swap + standalone
This is just a mock up, it's all I had in the shop at the time. You're going to have issues with that filter having so little surface area. My Xona started sucking oil through the compressor shaft seal from having too small of a filter on it, and that was at 350-400 whp.[/QUOT
That filter is all I had in the shop to test fit, it's not the one going in.

for curiosity sake, how much does all that wiring weigh!?
N52 head swap + standalone
Haven't checked the weight as yet. I did same thing to my vw r32 a while back and that entire harness weight was 108lbs, it had way less wires and modules.77lbs
Nope didn’t remove anything and naw 9* at thy boost level was plenty for the stock motor. Afr was like 11.8-11.9. On the rich side for sureDid you remove the HPFP pre-filter and mod your fuel rail? Ever tried running a hair more timing? What is your target AFR if I may ask?
Our goal right now is 9s and go from there. Thought about keeping Di and dme but I can't deal with it the extras.
I'll be posting more pics as I go, waiting on a few more piece to be finished.

Same one that came with my fftec bottom mount 6466.What filter were you running?
I plan to drive the hell out of this car when it's completed. Why run a filter at all instead of a guard for a dedicated drag car?, With the turbo placement it will be taking cool air directly from the front of the car, do you really intend on dailying it once its finished?
Most definitely not running that short filter, it was the only filter I had at the time just to put on for pics that's all.Turbo guard 100%. Or shorten the intake pipe to about 1/3 its current length and run a big ass filter like this one
