Fastest N54 XI? Post it up!

Crazy to think this was over 2 years ago.

I ran 11.3 on cast blade, standard 15t rbs. This was before inlets, MHD, and such, This car was a blast to drive, a truly simple setup, made about 440-50 awhp on e50, and was a turn key 11.3-4 second car at the track whenever, whererver.

Shortly after, I went hunting for more power, installed the first set of TFT inlets, the car made incredible power (600+ awhp), but ran into several driveline issues among other things. Sadly the car that ran 11.3, was totaled out when I smashed a deer

I have another xi, it's basically a clone- I'll be back at the track with it shortly!

Im an e92 XI 6MT running GC Turbos(just installed over the weekend) with AD Engineering IC, and Twisted Tuning meth plate with 1400cc/min worth of nozzles(7). She'd be running right now but I needed a longer elbow from the IC. That comes in today then I can start tuning. My goal is 700awhp.

I am on Pure stg2 HiFlow turbos, ADE fmic, PR inlets etc..
On E40 currently on Ken's tune. PI is being installed over the weekend. Should be mid 5s to the wheel. Kind of scared to launch it at the track after listening to all of @Dave @ Fuel-It! 's horror stories. I may just go to the track to see what it does. Goal is 600awhp for the summer, then turn it back down for fall/winter

Hasn't hit the strip yet. But car is making the power to lay down a nasty ET. But not sure if the 1/4 mile in his thing.

So, as far as that power split goes... That would be incredible to switch back and forth from.

20 - 80 would be great for races, while stock is great for never getting stuck

Here is a log of my car with the GCs on 24.5psi and 10.5 degrees of timing. I know VD isn't perfect but i've been using it to see changes in my tuning. I'll be going to a DynoJet in the next few weeks, I just need to massage my tune a bit. I also want to get a better meth solenoid.

Alright guys, it's time to mount tires on my new wheels. I've been searching all over and ended up just confusing myself more with each new option I've looked at. I'm not going for huge power, but I have had traction issues at the track with Cooper rs3 all seasons. I'm trying to get at least a 30,000mile, performance tire, for around or under $140. I've found MT street comps and that has my interest at the moment, but bfg GForce comps, and sumitomo hrz are also being considered. Are their any recommendations as to what you run on your xi for good launches?

Had the Continental DW on my car and had nothing but garbage to say about them. Firestone just came out with the Firehawk Indy 500's not that long ago, and for the price, can't be touched by much IMO. Not sure what power they were making but we are somewhere in the mid to high 600s before an injector failed. Havent gotten to the dyno yet, but with no traction issues and etc. Pure Turbo 6266 doc race kit Tune by me, MHD/JB4 stack for PI control.

This is pretty sick, can't believe this car is holding the power, I wish someone would take the XI drivetrain and build it up! Hopefully you have more info in time!

I have MMP stage 3's on my xDrive.
It's a slow build due to my wife being in school. The good news is xhp stage 3 went in this weekend. Trying to get time setup to visit a dyno, closest one is bout 6 hrs away. I'll have to plan a mini vacation with the wife. Also going to have to schedule time with Justin too

I love them for DD I've got over 13k miles on them. I'm only running 8.5 psi on pump 10psi on e30. Being xDrive and still pulling away from FBO v8s HAHA IT does the job... I'm bout to turn the boost up though... I keep telling everybody that... I've just been worried bout the front dif and since its my DD I havent turned it up.
There's an e92 that's pure s2 my first target after then a FBO CTSV just to get an idea what she'll do

For cruising around in "normal" it shifts way smooth compared to before.
In "sport" it smoothed out shifts as well as speed up the shift rate.

Let's just say I fell in love with the car all over again haha....

Sweet. I have all three maps but need to try them still.

Have you swapped in the M3 rack? It's one of my favorite mods.

A tighter ratio, its another mod that transforms the feel of the car if you haven't driven an M3 or a car with a similar ratio. It feels like an arcade game.
