i hear you. i just always wonder why people even keep them. Tested with and without them for some time. Made no difference in having them. So i deleted them both. Shortened all the lines. and converted to running everything off of one single boost control solenoid instead of two. Cleaner look and better response.

Does look good though bud. good work.

Where I did my mmp inlets I asked mourcio had he just tried deleting the canisters as part of the instructions and he said on some not all it causes lots of trouble.. I'm thinking maybe the cars with worn out pressure converter solenoids.. Maybe just a hunch..

Figure id share my vacuum canisters. Please dont criticize my welds too much, am a hobbiest welder lol. Anywho, figure id fab some vacuum canisters since i gotta move them for my new setup. Still need to find a place to mount them but need my mmp stage 3 and inlets to come first

They are technically not required, but why not keep what bmw spent tons of money on designing/testing?

You will have issues with the canister delete if you go from low elevation to high elevation. Because atmospheric pressure can change, the canisters are used to ensure that the car always has a consistent source of vacuum to operate the WG's when going through those changes. If you live at or near sea level, and you don't plan to drive up to Denver or something, then you could delete them, I suppose.

Is there an advantage of using metal canisters over the stock plastic ones besides looking better?
My understanding is that they tend to break at the nozzle or crack overtime as the plastic degrades.
