Update for the group:

One piece DSS drive shaft shipped today from Salisbury, NC to Johannesburg, Michigan.
I decided to use the AIC2-P controller over the AIC6 with enhanced functionality - it will arrive next week.
CP rods came today - still waiting on the pistons.
CM dual mass clutch delivered last week - will have a custom billet flywheel made.
Everything else has arrived

Now - time to get busy....

It’s been a while since I posted an update, but things are moving along. Head porting is done. The block insert and sleeves are done - and we are now upgrading the four outer head studs to M11, and using NS300 inserts to increase the tread depth. Also uograding to ARP main studs, and the crankshaft center bore honed.

Cryo treating the diff gears to help strengthen a known weak point.

Subframe is down and powerflex bushings all around....a teaser pic of the block.

You should definitely get a maximum PSI hub or VTT spline lock hub for that motor. Best to do it while motor is out.

So...left NC on Thursday with my 4x4 Tacoma and car dolly, and drove all night to Michigan, arriving Friday. Just my luck, it snowed all weekend... Thankfully I had 4WD this time. Worked some long hours with Matt at his shop and left Michigan Sunday later afternoon - drove all night to Virginia where I left the car in Motiv’s hands for the final tweaking and to button up a few items.

I will say - pulling a car out of Michigan in the snow might be better than driving the damn toll roads in Pennsylvania....

The Docrace downpipe had to be ‘reconfigured’ to fit without serious rubbing issues, and we took this opportunity to upgrade every possible hose on the car.

I am flying up on Dec 5th to bring the car home...hope to post a nasty dyno video here soon.

Hey - sorry I haven’t posted here in a while.

Got the car back about 90 days ago and have been trying to dial everything in since. Had a couple fuel line issues and now I think I’ll have to swap out some O2’s....

The car under WOT is insane. Shifting from 2-3 at 90, tires still break traction. It’s making mid 800 at the moment and I will continue to dial it in with Jake at Motiv (who has been great to work with BTW).

I have a set of Mickey Thompson’s to install as soon as my 17x9.5 wheels get here....for those quick trips to Mexico of course.

Not sure if I posted any pics of the block and head, but I’ll look back and see.

When I get a few more miles on her locally - I’ll plan a trip to WNC and 12 Bones. It sucks no E85 though...

2-3 at 90? That's some odd gearing for an N54

End of 2nd on a manual 3.08 diff is 90km.
Not sure why someone in the us would qoute km/h over miles but 2nd is definitley 90km at redline
