DCT - Possible xHP Flash

Quick question. Why would you still want the m3 hw? Are there other advantages?

really excited this is finally coming for the DCT. I am still patiently waiting for the disable auto shift at redline feature to be added. Which it should be at some point from what I e heard.

Well the shifter looks cooler. I prefer the physical motion of it concerning reverse position and neutral and such.
Aaannddd.. I would have to buy new pieces to put it all back together after all I've done to make it nice.
Also with the M3 that I don't see in the xHP options is lack of creep when you let off the brake. With the GTS software I have to actually push the gas to go.

yeah I would totally feel the same way if I were in your shoes. Was also trying to decide if I still needed to find the m3 hw. Sounds like I should wait and see how xhp is for now. Thanks for your response.

Not really. It has to be rewired and re-programmed.

It would have to be from the licence store not the app and so I think it’s a closed Beta

I'm going to hang onto my M3 stuff for now. If I keep having timing correction issues, I'm going to suspect my torque converter or something like that and that may force my hand to install all the DCT stuff at that time. Imaging 335is DCT with 3.46 FD

You need to update the app from the playstore. I think the iOS is still not updated however
