Why did you post the car for sale the next day and then delete the post soon after... Wish I would have thought to screenshot...
BUT... You were great to work with and answered all of my questions. Shawn has been a bit weird with the oil and exhaust requirements... But that seems par for the course on aftermarket twins. So far I haven't had a personal experience that would cause me to mistrust you or Shawn, but the Instagram post was weird.
All in all Nick and Shawn have been way more responsive than Ken from wedge has been. 3 weeks and still on v2 even though I send a log the day or 2 after he sends me a tune.

I picked up a pair of stg2+ during their Black Friday sale. I was leaning toward Pure600's but the cost and research on DAW sold me. I spoke to Shawn and purchased with him direct in the end.
I will be posting my experiences here, and over on e90, moving forward. Happy to join the group. Also, thanks earlobes for the information you provided.

Guys I didn't post In a little bit but I ordered bms methanol kit and will be running 100% pure methanol. Also picking up stage 3 lpfp and was going to buy the helix overdrive but since its holidays I decided to wait on that and get it later since with meth I will be at a lot of power already for now. Also picked up 17x8.5 rims for the back and we ordered Mickey Thomsons ET R's!!!!! 275/40R17. Paired with meth and good boost by gear setting it will do amazing!!! Wish me.luck guys! My 5th gear is not going in sometimes so idk if I will get into 10s without it hopefully by the end of the year to swap it and I want to be the first e92 rwd to be in 10.9 with these turbos. Also will be going to dyno this month hopefully

Reporting in on DAW Stage 2's 2.75k miles on them no apparent issues, no custom tune yet as i have yet to put in an outlet and a PI kit to make full use of the turbos. I will post logs with the OTS tune for anyone interested.

Ok so a need for a walbro 450 is confirmed with Ken. As far as the fuel controller is concerned in case mine craps out from the added stain of the new pump, would an ekfmp3, or whatever the acronym is, from eBay be sufficient? I wouldn't imagine a used one would be bad if coded. My FRM2 from eBay works perfectly.
Mine arrived yesterday. I would have taken some pictures but I've got three sick kids at home.
First impressions, and I used to work on aircraft engines, is that the entire assembly is high quality. Great casting. Proper hardware fittings. Great machining work. I like the e-clips keeping the adjustable nuts in place. ZERO shaft play. Solid wastegate assembly. No play that I would think would cause any rattle. YOu can see the balancing grinds on the shaft nuts. DAW name plates are now on with a serial number. Both came with very generic balance sheets that have the date I ordered them on it.
It's incredible how small these turbo's are and how capable they make the n54. I'll take some detailed pictured and post them up later.
