Actually I was about to ask if that data logging project is going anywhere as I was considering to do something similar...

Good job so far. Seems like a usable performant datazap without all the useless features. Very good performance and usability on mobile.

Good feedback.

Also I'm told the API should be tested in MHD in a week. Once that is buttoned up I'll be giving some people access to this menu on the site:

I’ve probably posted hundreds of data logs to Datazap over the years ever since it was a thing and during the Cobb era (really, they are all public if you want to check). As much as I
love Datazap, especially for sharing logs on a common platform that everyone seems to understand, there is definitely room and opportunity for improvement. What I’m seeing in this new datalog certainly seems like an improvement over Datazap. For example, I really like the smooth operation, the point symbols showing on the data lines, and the ability to collapse the legend. Being able to compare multiple logs simultaneously on a single screen (maybe overlay?) is a feature I would love to see.

Thank you for the kind words. The overlay is definitely the most requested feature. The requirement to do so however is fairly exotic and it won't be happening this year. I'm about done with enhancements for this year and will go into maintenance with all my code. Want to make sure the experience I'm delivering is solid and well maintained. There will be hiccups but my development will mostly be small changes.

I would like any feedback regarding improvements to the experience. A side by side graph should be possible. I'll think about it.

Looks very nice! I second the overlay option, but I'd even settle for a stacked display of 2 charts rather than having to open a separate window like I do in datazap. Will these only be available for forum embedding, or will there be a separate area where you can upload and review logs?

Its up there right now. Upload is limited as I'd still consider this a beta, just ask.

I saw that but I thought it wasn't active yet since it said no permissions. I'd be glad to beta it though!

Very fluid. Very nice. But the selected parameters in the legend and point values don’t show great in dark mode on an IPhone 7+...

Okay, just uploaded a new version. There was a bug with displaying unlisted and private logs which should now be fixed. I also adjusted the tooltip so the numbers should be easier to read. I adjusted the colors of the lines but they look better on the dark theme than light so I'll need to make separate line colors for the light theme as they seem a bit faded on the white background. Various other fixes including font size and appearance of the legend.

This is really cool and I prefer this over datazap. I look at data quite a bit at work and we have our own tool. One thing that I personally like is the ability to have multiple charts on one window and select which parameter plots on a specific chart. Multiple Y-axis is nice too. That way you can group parameters together that make sense to be grouped and then it's easier to review numerous parameters all at once without it being too cluttered. I imagine this is a lot of code though :)

You should be able to have multiple y axis by touching a series. But side by side and comparing is highly requested but a lot of work. Need to handle some essentials first.

The code here is a few revisions old. Some things have been cleaned up and some things added. Caching is being done now to reduce server load.

I've revoked upload permissions temporarily. I'm dumping compatibility for all previous versions of the datagraph software in an upcoming update so we can start fresh. This reduces the complexity of the install/upgrade code. This also means if you've uploaded a datalog, you may need to do it again.
