Just in case anyone reads this later. This isn’t the case. M3 DCT shaft doesn’t fit N54. Multiple people have had to do it

Confirmed, I had to get a custom fit.

Replaced the gearbox last week and the driveshaft survived the gearbox failure.

One of the best purchases I've made that has outlived my expectations.
