If you're going for a simple OEM+ look, the SpeedTech bottom mount is your best bet. I think they've been sold out for several weeks now, but they'll be back in stock soon. You'll achieve pretty good spool out of the mainstream turbo sizes people run on an N54, (60-68mm), but if you're wanting some good spool early-on along with a good powerband all around, a 6266 or 6466 would be ideal. Even slightly more effective if the turbo is a ball-bearing series.

Whats best st manifold? Im using oem+ just looking for best sounding and spool time

If you want the Best and only the best and OEM plus look no further than 4N Motorsport - Best ST kit on the Market for a true Race Shop and maily uses Borg Warner EFR turbos and sound great. Head to their Instagram page for plenty of Vids. https://4nmotorsport.com/

If you want the best budget then yes SpeedTech is the way, although they don't sound the best.

I agree with SpeedTech products being the best bang-for-buck kit given the selections available with any of their kits. I can also agree with SpeedTech's top-mount kits carrying on the "older BMW Inline-6" exhaust note because of the unequally-lengthed runners.

SpeedTech's bottom-mount kits are a different story because of the runner design, for both banks going into the T4 flange, being mirrored. Due to that, their bottom-mount kits sound pretty similar to 4n bottom-mount kits, DocRace top-mount kits, and any other popular companies that sell equal-length manifolds along with their single turbo kits which carry a clean exhaust note everyone looks for when switching to a single turbo.

Not to mention the open-dump wastegate note on the SpeedTech bottom-mounts have an aggressive / deeper tone like twin-wastegate single turbo kits out there, since the flange is divided between both banks rather than being merged like the DocRace DR700 bottom-mount kit or On3 top-mount kit, to name a few.

Last, if you look at some pictures of the SpeedTech bottom-mount kit, you can't get more OEM+ than that...you're not required to relocate anything for install aside from removing any parts that have to do with the twin turbo system.

You guy's are really snoozing on the king himself @frenchi_fab will whip you up a nasty single turbo setup for your car 100%

I wasn't familiar with him so I checked out his Instagram before commenting.

That said...

I see nothing that would make me agree with your claim of him being "king" of anything.

His first version looks to be literally a merge welded to the factory boysens. Not kidding.

to be fair. He started with cheap kits made from stock exhaust housings. And these kits are not bad at all. He is doing quite good in my opinion as a more private person who is selling stuff compared to professional companies.

But calling him the king is just.. a tiny little... exaggerated.
