Coils on. Car feels more responsive and exhaust note has a crisp, higher pitch sound. Most likely leaned up some. MHD tune coming next.

MHD Stage 1+ installed . Now, I need a the rain to stop and go for a test drive. Used MHD WIFI adaptor.

Car is turned up with MHD 1+, 91 octane. The car rips.

RB 2s are next. Will get installed over the winter.

RB 2s are installed with RB 1.75” inlets, down pipes and Precision RaceWorks coils. Running stock air box with z4 35is lid and K/N filter. Also, has ATM intercooler and upgraded charge pipe. Modified front inlet, using a cut off inlet connection from a stock airbox. Cut 1.5” off RB inlet and then inserted a 2” section of tubing, now, no issues with pulling rubbing inlet.

Hood stripped and sent out to get louvers punched. Going to get some heat out from under the hood.

Bought a HM style front splitter and was disappointed with the design. So, in typical fashion, I had to re-engineer to make it work. The splitter is hollow and will crack over time. So, had a friend graph in solid composite disc where the fasteners go thru and lay carbon fibre over the repair area. Will replace the setup fasteners with countersunk for the final install. Laser cut a backer that will be inside the bumper cover for the nuts to sit on to help not to deform and tear the bumper cover over time.

Just finished stamping and sent to the paint shop.

Final fit on the the front splitter. Made backer that fits behind the bumper cover which adds strength and backing to help prevent distortion once the bolts are tightened. It is also riveted in place so it will stay in position if the splitter is unbolted. Upgraded all mounting hardware to stainless steel and to Allen instead of Philips.

Finally has color. Letting it cure over the weekend and install on Monday.

Lasted 50ft. Turning the car around in my driveway , lightly brushed the curb and split. My composite person told me it was a poorly made when he was making improvements on it so I could bolt it on. No more splitter.
So, just put SS button head bolts in to fill the holes.
