Yes, I have tried updating to newest KOMBI version suggested by WinKFP (9242370->9316151), but getting an error:There's is actually more differences. The DTC light comes up top middle of cluster with different icon. Also says traction/off next to gear display
Probably some other differences i missed.
I've wondered the same aswell if you can change to the lci gear display just by coding.
Have you updated kombi though winkfp?
So my KOMBI version is 9242370.Error 211:
Error on flash programming!

I have used #0712 and the codes you provided, removed $205 (automatic transmission). Default coded KOMBI, I see some changes, transmission is set to SSG, but when sending display message 1D2 it displays gears as before, so no change. You can try E92 chassis (if different), $2TC, *KG13 (335is coupe) in place of your vehicle code and an actual production month/year of 335is in place of yours of not in the range (#mmyy). Remove any SA codes that indicate AT, if there are any. I have to set chassis first by itself, then OK, then go back in and do the rest. Default code after VO is set.
Alpina doesn't apply to DCT which is what is being discussed here. It's steptronic only.Alpina flash is free and is almost the same as XHP stage 1
You should read the first post CORRECTLY! My answer was 100% accurate.Alpina doesn't apply to DCT which is what is being discussed here. It's steptronic only.
Yes, Alpina adds numbers. The OP specifically referenced how to get a coding index 9 non M DCT display on his KOMBI in a steptronic car (as pictured), nothing really to do with just getting numbers. You should read the first post CORRECTLY! My answer was 100% accurate.
