Yeah...I don't know who Billy is. I thought Motiv had a weird oscillation at the top end of their dyno which put it into question? Perhaps I am miss remembering.

Nice to see it is an enthusiast and not a n54 vendor shop car and the factory DME.

I see the red flappy paddles. Is that an auto or DCT? How can it put down this much power?

It's DCT swapped on SSP clutch packs using the factory DME and a JB4. Also it has the M3 GTS flash, so technically it has less line pressure than the 335is.

I thought TCU's could now be flashed to achieve 17.5bar of line pressure ?

All the other '1000whp' dynos were manuals right? I never thought a DCT could actually hold this much power and tq and the 6spd manual was the only real solution.

1000whp + DCT what is he waiting for? Set some records and make Joe cry that his S65 will never be able to come close.

Yes but I don't believe this car had that treatment but I could be wrong. It required sending the valve body last time I checked, unless you happened to be friends with someone doing it locally which is basically nobody.

Jake's E90 dyno absolutely does NOT count. Smoothing zero and STD correction to claim 4 digits on a spike, purely for marketing purposes with no merit to back up said claim.
Thx you all for ur comments. When i get tome to swap the springs i close the loop and over with this 1-10whp bs. Lol 1200whp no questions asked.. just like the 93oct from the 613 to 731 no questions .. just some ppl like is that really 93. Is that real.. that s a stupid record.. blah blah.. it is 93. And it is stupid only if i try to push limits in my engine. I am far far from the limits on 93. But my goal is just to prove the build is capable no to push the limits of it. And it is capable of qay more. Not just a vendor trying to sell his solutions to "no problems"

In general, if increasing displacement with the same cylinder head/camshaft profiles, it will only increase torque and lower peak power output with all other things being equal.

This has a ported head (but no cams???). I would expect the head to allow for a bit of peak power increase (though ported heads are a crapshoot in this platform IMHO) and the extra CID reducing it a bit, so peak may be close to original (not that we could tell because of the half ass doitforthegram dyno pic).

I know the trend is higher CR as well, but I think these motors are so octane limited in the first place it's just not a great idea. I would reduce to make it more octane tolerant, and lowering the CR can improve spool time.

From what I've read it sounded like increasing CR improved spool. You get stronger pulses from the exhaust and lose less heat energy to the water jacket of the engine. Suspect though that you'd see no difference if CR was different by a 1. i.e. 9.2:1 instead of 10.2:1

Yes increase spool. And if u can t see .. (76mm in my car). Without NOS, no meth and spool ok.
But if i wanted to have a 3k rpm spool i would have left my 6870... see my base tune. So now i will use antilag and see the diff on spool ..
