Was at VAC booth and was speaking to Hayyan Amro(Rep) and he was saying that in few months they will be coming out with a n54 billet intake with carbon fiber mixed with it.front facing style.that would be interesting to see.

This is about 2-year-old news, they were working with CPC and said they had something coming in 2017 when Tony was looking for the shop car, maybe they finally finished it?
Hayyan said it's been on the back burner for some time as a result to being very busy, they dont participate in forums but did say to follow their Instagram for progress.

Would be interesting to see for sure, hopefully the carbon would make up for the weight gain and extra heat one usually gets when going with an aftermarket IM. I also hope it'll come with a CP since it seems most FF IMs over the years have required you to fab one. Between those few things and the fact that the major benefit of going aftermarket for a manifold (PI) isn't going to be necessary to make power now, I think a FF IM would be my last mod right now.

But if so and it's not priced ridiculously maybe I'll have an aftermarket manifold some day.

CPC bmw manifolds are very pricey. If the ones VAC have previously sold are anything to go off then I think around 3500-4000 dollars is what you will be looking at

Well, considering the carbon I'd say that seems about in-line with most aftermarket N54 manifolds then, especially if you add in injectors etc. More than I'd like to pay for sure, but hopefully it's less than that and about equal to a plain Jane EoS manifold if they dont bundle it with PI too.

$3500-$4000 is not in line with other offerings to be honest, even with everything you can possibly order on the Plazmaman it's well under $3000

Something like that should help make the N54 engine bay a bit less ugly.
