I have a 2010 135i with 595 rwhp and 550 ft lbs torque (93+methanol) and I'm about to turn it up even more by going e85. What are the Pro's and Con's of doing a 6hp28 swap versus 8hp70 swap? 6hp28 seems like it is easier and cheaper, but I read fantastic threads about the 8 speed. What is the advantage? I read good things about both options but not much on a comparison.
Any other good options? I like the idea of DCT but it seems less reliable. I'm not interested in making this car a Manual. I'm not into racing, just an old guy who likes to have fun on the street.
