Technical PSA: Avoid cheap aftermarket filter assemblies

It was brand new, definitely not melted. It blew out during a pull. It had maybe had a dozen pulls on it, was just testing and tuning the new pump setup. It likely bubbled then popped.

What's the best place to buy line like that? My pump came with soft line but it sketches me out. Blew once, replaced it with more. Always worried lol.

These fuel tubes are my favorite. Ethanol compatible and super super cheap. I haven't found any fuel tubes cheaper than this.

Just make sure to use clamps designed for injectors and not any worm gear clamps as those will bite into the plastic and eventually leak.

That was my thoughts as well. Must have had a small crack in that location.

There was no damage there before hand. That bubbled out and popped. The material is stretched and thin at the break.
