Really need help I have bricked my car.
I have a n55 335i 2011 that I had previously flashed to Stage 1 v1.84 map using a MHD wifi adapter through an android phone running MHD N55-E software. Everything worked perfectly and after using a bit I even activated the burble option which worked just fine. I switched the burble setting once or twice as well which also flashed perfectly fine.
Today I had some time on my hands so I decided to go stage 2 on the newly released 2.x beta maps. I used the same old MHD Wifi Adapter and my android phone with the updated MHD Flasher software. At about ~10% the flash failed. I tried to start the car but it would only crank and not start. After this I powered off the car fully then turned ignition back on, replugged in the MHD. Tried to flash back to stock this time. And it errored out on "Erasing ECU" (not exact words but something like that. After this I did a restart on car again. Went back to my old MHD N55E software and tried the flash to stock and it ended up erroring again with "Unable to prepare memory".
I'm out of ideas at this point. During one of the attempts it even showed an error code 7F 36 80
Please note that I've been following everything by the book. All doors windows closed, no lights on, battery charger plugged for about 30 mins+ before starting (20A charger), in ignition ON mode.
Can someone guide me on where to even start troubleshooting. I'm not at all very savvy with car tuning stuff. I've looked up some other peoples post and they end up figuring out that they had missed one of the steps like ignition on or leaving door open or opening door during flash which led it to fail. I didn't do anything as such so I'm really unsure where to go from here.
Any help or advice appreciated THANKS!

Sorry to hear this. I haven't ran into this problem before, but it's my biggest fear as software stuff is also not my strength. I'm not sure if switching back to the old app after the flash failed from the new app or not. It seems when people have problems they retry the same flash until it works.

Have you got it working yet? Did you reach out to MHD to see what they advise? Of not, I'd definately recommend that. Otherwise, hopefully somebody chimes in here with something to try.

Good luck!
