I haven't been able to find a clear answer and it seems like XHP isn't the greatest trans flash out there. Curious if a stock turbo DCT z4 on the MHD stage 2+ tune can handle the torque fine without slipping or if I really should be looking for a trans flash as well. I don't plan on upgrading turbos.
Can stock e89 z4 DCT handle mhd stage2+ torque?

Hey Pbondar, thanks for the feedback, every bit helps. From reading the xhp thread it seems people are quite happy with Olza's gts tune over the xhp, have you tried it?
No I haven’t ..primarily because xHP has coped well as I went from stage 1 to stage 2 to hybrid turbo with no issues and a very smooth and fast and predictable shift system..a colleague has had a non xHP tune on his DCT and it’s not as smooth n slick as a well matched xHP tune..it’s easy to play in xHP with the various parameters and see the effects..
just try it. If it slips one time nothing is broken and you can go forward with XHP or whatever else you like
