hello guys been having alot of trouble with my 2007 e90 335i. It first start i want to say 2 weeks ago when i was doing a pull the car stuttered really bad then started missfiring. thankfully i was in my neighborhood so i limped it to my house i check codes had some missfire codes and then the infomuse 30aa code. Pulled the dme out and tested the mosfets had 2 that ended up being bad replaced all the mosfets. Plugged the dme back in hooked the battery up and tried starting the car and had the same problem still missfiring badly with the code 30aa. So i ended up buying a msd81 dme and had it cloned to my cas and key. when i get the newer dme back i plugged it into my car and my car would only crank. there was a few times when i cycled the ignition and it almost started but then would go back to just cranking. I checked codes threw protool and these are the codes i got.

2d5c- DME: DME, internal fault: monitoring, hardware
2d67- DME: DME, internal fault: monitoring, processors
2aca- DME: Terminal 15-3, line from CAS: electric
2cfb- throttle-valve adaptation value
2d09- throttle
DME shadow codes
2ad0- no message from transmission control unit, receiver DME, transmitter EGS / HIM / SMG / DCT

Now with the old dme i had ( msd80 ) i never had any problems with throttle or had any codes for throttle and same with all the dme codes. im just wondering if this is a sign of a bad dme or if there is something that is causing the these codes to come up. ive looked threw some of the fuses/ relays in the glove box and the fueses and relays in the same box the dme goes in. nothing seemed wrong with any of the fuse's. I did replace the battery because the old one was trash and i was having to charge the battery constantly and the volts where just really low with that battery. i just need some help trying to figure out if this is a dme problem or something else. any and all help is much appreciated. thank you in advanced.

Sounds DME related to me, if you swap back to MSD80 and the errors clear then it's almost certainly a bad DME. Maybe the MSD81 was water damaged.

Who did the DME cloning? Maybe they messed up.

So i did just put my old dme back in to see if those code went away and they did the codes i got with the msd80 where the 30aa dme internal fault injectors 1,2,3
and then the miss fire codes for cyl 1,2,3 and the car actually start up this time and ran how it should normally run. And for what ever reason had me thinking my old dme was fine because the car was running just fine no misfires at all but when i turned the car off then back on it started to misfire real bad so ima leave it at that. Going to go pick up another msd81 dme and get it coded to my car hoping that will fix it. But for what ever reason i have a feeling it might be something else something that is shorting out causing the dme to whack out idk i might just be crazy.
