They look just like the chinesium downpipes I installed plus a logo welded on. Fitment was not quite perfect, but fixable with a hammer.

Good to know. I am so sick of my POS vrsf pipes. Horrible fitment with one pipe that had reversed threads that keep fucking up my o2 sensors when I need to remove them.. I guess I will have to bit the bullet and get AR pipes or something reputatable... whoever said a pipe is just a pipe apparently has not problem with insane careless assembly of basic things like the damn threads on the o2 bungs.

Thanks for the info.

I have VRSF. I wasn't quite pleased with the spitting of the first set, and did a swap with Tiago for a second set. Those were reasonably fine. It's generally a tight fit. Quality of the welds and everything else was excellent.

I would not buy this stuff from eBay since they're likely is no recourse if they don't fit well. Buy from someone that you know will have some form of customer service.

Now that you mention it... one of the O2 sensors required a lot of force to get in. Actually I did not regret my purchase so far... guess I will once stock pipes have to be swapped in for inspection.
(Thanks to VW OBD is no longer sufficient in Germany)

You only have to use stock pipes if your location requires all modules to be in ready mode while inspecting. If your location allows for one not ready module, you may be able to pass inspection also. But if you use Flex Fuel, you will have 2 not ready modules and you have to install the stock dp to pass. Evap system will never be ready because the evap wire is being used by the Flex Fuel Module.

You can extend your post cat O2 wiring harness and install bungs behind high flow midpipe cats, which is what we did.

Unfortunately my location (Germany) requires emissions to be OK when measured in the tailpipe... unlikely without primary cats.

Actually my last time around, I did a sniff test and passed emissions with mid-pipe cats. Remember that putting the cats right behind the engine is done predominately to heat the cats and reduce cold operation emissions. I suppose it depends on what specific kinds of inspections are performed in your locality.
