2016 M235i, 6MT MHD Stage 2 - 93 octane map.

I normally add 1.5 gallons on e-85 to a tank to compensate for crap CA gas. I don't recall seeing this level of timing corrections before. Did plugs a couple months ago stock Bosch and I have 6 new Delphi OEM coils ready to install. Maybe I need to go back down to the 91 Oct map, or could not adding E-85 make timing that bad. No misfires, CEL or other issues. Looking at the logs any advice? Thanks for any help

I was on a very long onramp, could not start at 2k RPM, was closer to 4k. Not sure what a difference that makes

So you did not add ethanol on this run ? If it is crap Ca 91, I would say stick to 91 map and still add a little E.
Or always run Ethanol. Not sure why you wouldn't run your regular mix ?

So I did not add ethanol to this tank and now I know the result of not running my normal mix. I added 1.5 gallons yesterday and flashed back to the 91 Map. Much cleaner log this morning. The MHD rep told me before that if I added e-85 and got a clean log I could bump up to the 93 map. I'm just going to keep it on the 91 map and keep adding 1.5 gallons of e-85 at fill up.

Across all of my good logs I am only really seeing corrections on cylinder 4, I'm going to switch coils on 3 and 4 and see if the corrections follow. Thanks for replying

No problem. Cyl4 is minor correction. I doubt swapping plug or coil will affect it. Usually it is fuel (in this case NOT) or from my experience temps, humidity, pressure, etc
Logs will usually vary one from another. Lots of variables. Aside from the ones mentioned, back to back runs, IAT, EGT, etc.

Did a good pull this morning with zero corrections. I guess I'll keep the coils on standby. My boost seems low, may have a small leak. I have a boost leak tester so may look at that this weekend.
