This video reveals quite a bit of information about what we can expect and there may even be a few hidden clues in here that haven't been confirmed yet.

It looks like the S58 will not be using the integrated exhaust runners like the B58 which is great news for anyone looking to upgrade.

Intake pipes in front, wonder if A2A conversions become a thing?

Looks like there is room for a third HPFP, depending on what is already there

You get a really good look at how these pumps interface with the camshafts:

Each exhaust port is clearly shown, looks like the head can be ported as well:

Good to see they stuck with a mechanical water pump. Also has a small electric pump to run water to the turbos when the motors shut off. I'm still on the fence with the rear timing drive . You won't have to worry about spun crank hubs anymore though.

Yeah , that black cover is hiding the timing chain vanos gears. This will suck to service, but it's suppose to be a "lifetime" item. Hopefully they fixed whatever rear cam drive issues they were having with the diesel n47 motors that first used this setup. The timing chains were ( still are ) stretching and breaking needing service. Hopefully that's been addressed. This is one of the things that scared me about the b58 and now the s58 has it. Only time will tell. I wonder where they put the solenoids for the exhaust and intake cam.

I highly doubt they will. If anything the Supra will get the regular exhaust manifold version of the B58.

Looks like the Supra and the European market Z4 M40i get the B58B30C which is the "headifold" cylinder head. The different cylinder head seems to call for different rods and pistons. Probably to offset some small change in compression ratio due to the head design.

The US-spec Z4 M40i and G20 M340i (this "M" marketing shit is getting crazy) cars all seem to be getting the B38B30B which is the standard 6 port head.

Guess we'll find out which proves more tune-able. This hinders Supra turbo development carrying over to existing B58 platforms but maybe the S58 will be interchangeable?
